gOasis, LLC was founded in 2012 by Eleanor Nelson, on the belief that people can benefit greatly from interaction with nature in any man-made environment, and so the idea as conceived to provide customized mobile gardens to fit any need, from the workplace and healthcare settings to special events and personal spaces.
WHAT IS A MOBILE GARDEN?
A garden is an oasis in a world of chaos. Studies show that in nature, our bodies relax and our minds sharpen – our pulse rate slows, stress hormones dissipate, our brains focus, we regain perspective, decisions become easier to make, ideas bubble up from dreams to possibilities. We think more positively, become more creative and learn better.
The only thing limited in a garden is its accessibility. It’s outside in a fixed place, often not nearby when you need it. Far from the office, far from the rehab facility, far from the places where life happens. Even if it is just outside your door or window, weather or general busy-ness can come between you and the peace you seek. Until now…
gOasis provides garden settings that may be used in a variety of venues, indoors or outdoors, ranging from training sessions to large conferences to clinics, spas and more.

The mission of gOasis, LLC, is to improve the lives of people everywhere by providing a quick, simple way to reap the benefits of being in a natural space.
Eleanor Nelson, Chief Gardening Officer, is a garden designer and event planner. She has years of experience creating environments where people learn well and make lasting connections in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
Growing up, Eleanor spent every possible minute outdoors. With the demands of a career, she found it harder to get out into nature even while she needed its effects more than ever. She hiked and gardened whenever she could fit it in, going to nature for inspiration, soothing, perspective and joy.
Once she became familiar with the proven therapeutic effects of nature on health care staff and patients, Eleanor realized that making nature readily accessible in work and training environments was her calling. She now provides gardens where they are needed most – in the midst of the stressful environments where we work and learn.
